Our story is your story
The Novotalk DNA is built around “stubbornness.” It was established by a group of people who couldn’t accept that stuttering and other treatable speech disorders are still so widespread. Over a billion people worldwide struggle with speech and language disorders, and most of these conditions are manageable. The issue is that current treatment methods are not accessible to most. We believed there must be a simpler way to help more people effectively, anytime, anywhere, and at a lower cost.
Our Solution
The solution now appears straightforward. Thanks to widespread internet access, mobile devices, and recent progress in Machine Learning and AI, Novotalk decided to create a delivery system that is better, more adaptable, accessible, and cost-effective.
We created a new kind of virtual therapist called Emily and gave control of treatment to the patient. With Emily’s continuous support—who is always updated, remembers everything, and customizes her approach—along with the patient’s ability to control the pace and intensity, we believe this is an effective solution.
Our first focus was on stuttering. We incorporated adaptive features that tailor the experience to each individual. These include realistic scenario practices, emotional support modules, and helpful tips.
Currently, with many happy, fluent users, we continue to improve our product and are working hard to address additional speech disorders to help more people help themselves.

Our Mission
Our goal is to remove the burden of treating treatable speech and language disorders.
Many people underestimate the significance of speech, often taking it for granted. Speech and language are crucial for human interaction, serving as our primary means of communication and self-expression.
For those with speech disorders, daily life can present challenges that seem small but are actually quite burdensome. Examples include a father unable to read a bedtime story to his daughter, an employee struggling to write a simple email or avoiding conversations with colleagues, or a young woman becoming quiet at social events or on a date. These minor difficulties can lead to ongoing frustration and unhappiness. Sadly, many are unaware of this because those affected often stay silent.
Beyond the individual, the impact of speech and language disorders extends to families and society. The severity of these issues can impose financial, social, and emotional burdens. Given their prevalence, they also influence broader economic factors. In essence, if speech and language disfluencies were eliminated, people could contribute more to society, and healthcare costs would decrease.
